The application of vacuum pumps in the process of pulp to finished paper is specified as follows

De-aeration system

Before the raw material enters the pulp mixing tank (headbox), the air in the raw material and the air in the dilution water is removed by the vacuum system.

Vacuum Filtration

Used to remove certain chemicals from the pulp, to recover lime sludge from the white water clarification process, and to filter non-combustible suspended particles from the “green liquor”.
